Student Representative:
The female recipient of the Milam award passed around a Thank you note.
Also great big thank you for the plaques that will be awarded to the girl’s soccer team for their championship. The new Student Representative for 2008-2009 was introduced.
Administration:

President:
Three coaches’ jackets available for assistant coaches- would like to order a few more to increase stock.
Vice President:
Thanks to the outgoing Student Representative for all of her contributions!
Treasurer:
Final Report Income from 1/1/08-6/4/08 was $4867.49 (Total for the year $13391.00) Expenses for same time period was $3615.53 (Total for the year was $9408.56)
Current Balance with AFCU-$6,563.08.
Athletic Director: Another banner is on order ($75.00), 17 plaques are on order ($180.00), video camera was ordered and received (no receipt at this meeting). A coach was using it and checking it out before the warranty expires. The Athletic Director will inquire about a school GPS for sports trips.
Membership:
No new members, ¼ of the membership will remain the same; recruitment with the PTSO will be made at the Back to school BBQ in August (joint form)
Brigands Wear:
New person to take over was not in attendance. Great sales at Brigand Bash! A new order was placed to charge the stock for the Back to School BBQ.
Banquets:
$40.00 was made on the tombola, sold drinks for half price to deplete stock, only 5 DVD’s were ordered.
Current group agreed no tombolas for the sports banquets 2008-2009
The screen on the TV was poor in quality to show off the DVD. Someone needs to know where the plugs go for future banquets.
Spirit Committee:
Provided buttons for on family member. The banners were displayed at soccer and track meets. There was a send off for Europeans (soccer and track) with a banner and sign on the athlete’s locker. The Fan Bus was discussed for the fall and the Div IV football games away and at home.
Old Business:
Minutes were not available from previous month.
New Business:
A second GPS to purchase for fan bus or sports team
A Marquee to advertise school/sports events
Consolidating Banners for the new gym
